A problem is a chance for you to learn.

Okay something positive.

From Al-Baqarah:
"And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I willl make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers." (2:124)
Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). (2:125)
And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits, -such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith, -for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire, - an evil destination (indeed)!" (2:126)
And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." (2:127)
"Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (will); and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful" (2:128)
"Our Lord! send amongst them a  Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (2:129)
These are what our Prophet Abraham AS has prayed to Allah during the time he was made an Imam to the Nations, and the time he and his son Prophet Isma'il built the foundations of Makkah.

A lot that we can get just by going through these few ayats in the Quran. However one of the reminders I was reminded earlier this week was that:

Prophet Abraham AS has prayed during his time, and if we notice all of these were granted during the time of our Prophet Muhammad SAW. and his people. His ummah.

A thousand years after.

So a great reminder, that for us the servants of Allah, we must keep on praying. We must remember Allah, and ask from Him, for the things we wanted or for others, while going through hardship or while we're at ease, when asking for directions and signs. For everything we need, or want. We must pray for them from Him.

And we must be confident, have faith and we must know this; our du'a will be granted by Allah. No matter what.

Also these hadiths:

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no Muslim who offers supplication in which there is no sin or severing of ties of kinship, but Allah will give him one of three things in return for it: either what he asked for will be hastened for him, or (reward) will be stored up for him in the Hereafter or an equivalent evil will be diverted from him.”

{Narrated by Ahmad, 10749; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 2199}.

In the hadith which was narrated by al-Tirmidhi from Abu Hurayrah, who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘There is no man who prays to Allah and makes dua’ to Him, and does not receive a response. Either it will be hastened for him in this world, or it will be stored up for him in the Hereafter, so long as he does not pray for something sinful, or to cut the ties of kinship, or seek a speedy response.’ They said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what does seeking a speedy response mean?’ He said, ‘Saying, “I prayed to my Lord and He did not answer me.”’” (Al-Tirmidhi, 3859; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 852).

InsyaAllah our prayers are/will be granted. Aminnn.

Got this from Fatinn's blog.

Wahai sahabat² seagama denganku…
tak nampak apa cuma dua biji mata and membawa mesin gun...
lalu salah seorang lelaki tu bertempik "
Macammana…..!!!!
adakah anda rasa lawak dgn cerita di atas. selain terhibur anda Fikirkanlah...
"Lawak kan, dari 1,000 org yg mengaku dia Islam hanya 40 yg betul-betul BERIMAN... "
"Lawakkan berapa banyak manusia yang mudah lupakan ALLAH bila menghadapi bahaya...
kedua lelaki hanya membawa mesin-gun..
dia tak kata pun nak bunuh.. tapi generasi skrang….amat lemah..baru kena ugut terus lari lintang pukang..
tunjuk muka kat org kampung.. ada tu lagi dashyat setahun 2 kali aje….bile time sembahyang raya..."
Kenapa?
gelak tu kan realiti..
tapi yg paling lawak sekali..
berapa banyak????
Fuh. terasa kot?

Ku mengharapkan Ramadhan kali ini penuh makna. Agar dapat ku lalui dengan sempurna.

Currently listening to Raihan's Harapan Ramadhan (feat Manbai)

Every year, when Ramadhan comes, my hope will only be that; the lyrics up there.

Ku mengharapkan Ramadhan kali ini penuh makna. Agar dapat ku lalui dengan sempurna.
I hope for a meaningful Ramadhan. So I can go through it perfectly.

Well all am asking for is one meaningful Ramadhan. This time around, I asked myself this, it has been a year, since last year's Ramadhan. So what have you change about yourself? Have you become a better person?

Truthfully, I can say that I don't know.

How sad. I feel the change to the better. But not completely. At the same time I know how broken I've become, especially in bringing myself closer to Him.

So this time around? My hope is still the same; but I'll dig deeper. To get to the whole meaning of it.

Lets hope for the best!

Salam Ramadhan to everyone :)

The famous last words - the last sermon of Rasulullah (SAW)

This sermon was delivered on the Ninth day of Dhul al Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.

After praising, and thanking God, he said:

"O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.
Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.
O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the Quraan) and my Sunnah (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

Itulah Al-Qur'an dan Sunnahku.

Salam Maulidur Rasul 1432H =)

7 ways to improve your relationship with the Quran

“O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as a thing (abandoned)”  [Surah 25: 30]
ARE you one of those people who rarely touch the Qur’an? Or do you read daily, but don’t find it is having the impact on you that it should? Whatever the case may be, these are some simple tips that can help you connect with the Qur’an.

1. Before you touch it, check your heart.

The key to really benefiting from the Qur’an is to check your heart first, before you even touch Allah’s Book. Ask yourself, honestly, why you are reading it. Is it to just get some information and to let it drift away from you later? Remember that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was described by his wife as a “walking Qur’an”: in other words, he didn’t just read and recite the Qur’an, he lived it.

2. Do your Wudu (ablution).

Doing your Wudu is good physical and mental preparation to remind you that you’re not reading just another book. You are about to interact with God, so being clean should be a priority when communicating with Him.

3. Read at least 5 minutes everyday.

Too often, we think we should read Qur’an for at least one whole hour. If you aren’t in the habit of reading regularly, this is too much. Start off with just five minutes daily. If you took care of step one, (God willing), you will notice that those five minutes will become 10, then half an hour, then an hour, and maybe even more!

4. Make sure you understand what you’ve read.

Five minutes of reading the Qur’an in Arabic is good, but you need to understand what you’re reading. Make sure you have a good translation of the Qur’an in the language you understand best. Always try to read the translation of what you’ve read that day.

5. Remember, the Qur’an is more interactive than a CD.

In an age of “interactive” CD-Roms and computer programs, a number of people think books are passive and boring. But the Qur’an is not like that. Remember that when you read the Qur’an, you are interacting with Allah. He is talking to you, so pay attention.

6. Don’t just read; listen too.

There are now many audio cassettes and CDs of the Qur’an, a number of them with translations as well. This is great to put on your walkman or your car’s CD or stereo as you drive to and from work. Use this in addition to your daily Qur’an reading, not as a replacement for it.

7. Make Dua (supplication).

Ask Allah to guide you when you read the Qur’an. Your aim is to sincerely, for the love of Allah, interact with Him by reading, understanding and applying His blessed words. Making Dua to Allah for help and guidance will be your best tool for doing this.

just another reminder for me and to others. :)
