Jesselton Tonight.

Hosannas under a blood red sky.
We danced a tune to Van’s surrender.
Bless the man, he’s singing and howling sweetly to the moon!
And then you took me by the hand again and said,
“I love you so. Would you fall in love in Jesselton tonight?”

I was feeling really down on Saturday night. And felt better the next morning. So much better.

For that, I'd like to thank Ibu and my dear friends. What I'd do without all of you XD

So we went to the Diwali Festival. It was not bad. The stage was really beautiful! And the food stalls are at the other side of TSB, and the retail stalls are in the same area as the main stage. Lagi besar than Asean Night Market Festival. Waiting on the line to get in was long tho. But can't blame the people inside; there is a lot to explore. A lot of things to see.

Well I think its worth lining up. Cuz I got my Murukku! And a poster and a fridge magnet (thanks Suf!) of Dr Suresh from Heroes. Actually its not really a poster. But yeah its not like I am going to post it up. Haha. But what the heck. I love it anyway. Although I don't quite like his character for this season. Its sad. Even Peter makes me sad :(

The highlight of the day:

This year I get to watch the diwali fireworks from my own living room's window. Last year I only watched it from Palie's window. But through a reflection of the next door building. So tak live lah. Sedih je.

But I don't care anymore. I get to watch it live this year and that make my heart smile all night. and InsyaAllah, I can watch Guy Fawkes this year. Together with that ride of your life show. I soo cannot wait!!=D

Taken from the website:

The Pelorus Trust Sky Show, the fireworks display held on 5 November on Wellington Harbour, attracts a huge public viewing audience of 30,000 people to the Wellington Waterfront.

The Ride of Your Life Spectacle will take place in the three hours leading up to the fireworks, and will entertain everyone, taking us to the Pelorus Trust Sky Show at 9pm.

The waterfront will come alive with with a demonstration of thrill rides in a choreographed show on the waterfront near Frank Kitts Park as jetboats, thundercats, waterskiing, wakeboarding and other watersports go through their paces.

The crowd will be able to make their gold coin donations in exchange for a Whittaker's Sante Bar at the entrances to the waterfront.

Transport providers have agreed to make donations to Wellington Free Ambulance based on public use of buses and trains to attend the spectacle, so make sure you take a bus or train to this fantastic event on 5 November!

Hopefully I can witness this event. Amin~!
