Was the phrase Auntie Rose always used especially through-out the whole the leadership camp that was held in late April.
Haz, Nonie and I went to Queensgate just now.
So the bus ride I had just reminded me of the whole process of preparing "The Amazing Race: Leadership Camp Edition" a.k.a Senses. Especially the site visit. Because of the short week we had to pull off the whole course, the Senses team and I had no choice but to do site visit on a rainy day. And the rain was really heavy. And it was really cold!
That trip was quite torturing. And funny at the same time. Well, it was interesting =) Something to be remembered.
I felt bad for dragging them all with me. But yeah thanks to them for willing to help and support me all the way.
That was one of the unexpected events that happened during the preparation for the Leadership Camp that we helped Auntie to organize. There were more.
If I want to talk about the camp, its gonna be loonngg. But yeah those times are already in the past.
The reason why I suddenly feel like blogging its because of what happened today.
As mentioned in one of the previous posts, I won an award during the
Malaysian Night. Again, thank you dear voters. So I received 2 tickets to watch a movie at Sky City Cinemas. And they're gonna expire by the end of this month. Well, I haven't tried watching a movie there, and since I don't want to waste the tickets, I ajak-ed Nonie and Haz to join me. I only have 2 tickets, and there were 3 of us. So we decided to divide the cost of the extra ticket to 3. Its like paying $5 for a movie. Not bad huh.
We don't know what movie to watch. There was only one show that interest us for the late afternoon session.
Which is this:
I heard good reviews from its fans. And Adam said the soundtrack is nice. So I thought of giving it a shot. Although I never thought of watching this movie on big screen. Not a big fan of High School Musical.
For the sake of using those free tickets.
But apparently, its a non-complimentary show. So we can't use the tickets.
How sad =(
But there were no other movies. Unless we want to wait a lil bit longer. But we're afraid of not getting a transport home. And we're already in Queensgate.
So we choose to watch that show anyway.
Before the show started, we can't help ourselves but to wonder why its a non-complimentary show. Okay maybe that is not so weird. Its a popular movie so maybe thats why. Then when we checked out the session times, we realized that HSM 3 only had one showtime. Okay that's a bit weird I think. Considering the fact that the showtimes for the next day, and days after that are like normal; many sessions. Then according to Haz, many people bought the tickets to today's show. And that is weird too. Why there are so many people watching a show on a Wednesday? Then when we walked to the cinema, we realized in front of the cinema there were so many red and white balloons. I was like... okayy, they are still on HSM fever. And then while waiting for the show to start, a guy came in and started to welcome us all:
"Hi everyone, welcome to the Premier of the High School Musical 3..."
and we were like... huh??
Nonie: Are we watching the premier?
FM: er... I don't know. Movie ni dah lama released kann?
Nonie: Bila released?
FM: 4th of December.
Haz: Farah, thats tomorrow.
FM: ... oh.
We burst out laughing.
LOL. How can I be so blur. I saw the date 4th December on the posters of the movie waay before we got there. Now, that explains why its non-complementary, why there were so many people in the cinema, why there are balloons outside the hall, and why theres only one and only showtime for the day.
Its the first premier I watched for the year. But the second premier I watched in NZ. The first was
POTC3.
They even have a quick quiz just now and they give away merchandise such as gift card, stickers and the soundtrack. But apparently I am not a big fan, so I don't know the answers. Haha.
We had a great time just now =) Its worth it. We were one of the first ones to watch that movie on a big screen in NZ B) plus I like the movie. Love the soundtrack. The story line is a bit different too. So burn duit pon takpe. huhu.
Well, today's events were all based on our impulse decisions. We did not expect anything. So the day turned out to be an unexpected day. Very exciting.
Hah, puas hati =)
By the way,
I just realized these:1. HSM 3's color theme is the same with my blog's color theme; Red, White, and Grey.
2. I wrote a post mentioning a little bit about the premier of POTC3 before (check out this post).
And in that post, I also mention a little bit about HSM (The Musical) and the fact that I am not a fan of HSM. 3. The first part of this post (the leadership camp part) and the second part of this post (the todays' story) somehow links because they were both filled with 'unexpected events'.
4. All these facts do excite me. At least a little bit.
5. I used "a little bit" in this post several times already.
This is what happen when I kinda let myself do impromptu decisions.
But that was fun tho. I am too tired of thinking too much.
Even a teeny weeny fact may surprise me. And that makes me happy =)
Life is full of surprises. Let us leave it that way.
After so long. Well, its long enough for me. Still, I have a lot to talk about. It just that I don't feel right to blab about them. Not for now. Not yet.
I'm going to rest from this world. I need more time before I am ready again.
But I am starting to wonder, when will I be active again? *sigh*
