Your shimmy shook my bones, Leaving me stranded all in love on my own

Currently listening to Kings of Leon's Closer

At a Nikah ceremony:

FM: look Ibu, the mother cried. You know what? I think on my wedding day you'll cry too. I bet you would!
MAR: Oh please-lah.
FM: Well.. I am gonna make you cry. I'll make sure of that.
MAR: pffttt. Tolong la ye. I won't cry!

Random conversation with my Ibu. Come to think of it, this year I wanted to dedicate a post for Mother's Day. But apparently I didn't. How sad. But she doesn't read this blog anymore now that I am here. And I treated her breakfast.

I like the fact that we both smiled like that. haha.

Call me lame. But I really love the way they look at each other, I love it so much it becomes my wallpaper.. for awhile. The scene is also very cute. That's what I like about first love. They seem so pure and although they're all mushy, but they're still cute and we still go awwww.

To be honest, I don't like this song. I get annoyed with it easily. But you know what? The verses posted above are exactly what I feel. Well at least what I've felt. I don't know if I feel the same anymore now.

Okay back to work.

p/s:  Do you think of me? Where am I now, baby, where do I sleep?

Free your mind, and the rest will follow. Be colourblind, don't be so shallow.

Currently listening to the Glee Cast version of Stop in the Name of Love/Free Your Mind

My fave out of the songs in the episodes. Love everything about this mash-up. Teenage Dream is also another great one. To be honest, I never thought Teenage Dream is a song that I will put on repeat. Until Glee made a cover of it. I don't know, to see a bunch of smart looking school boys performing it? I can't stop listening to it eversince. LOL. I know, I sounded like a pedophile or something. Its their voices that I like the most about the song, then the performance. Men singing a woman's song really did change my perspective towards a song. It meant something more.

Okay, its not about the song that I wanted to talk about. Its just that I went through some tagged photos on facebook (I am still wondering why I don't take many photos this year) so I stumbled upon years in Vic's photos. I am yet to open an album on my memories in NZ. Will do that, but I don't know when :P I found this:

from our session in the photo booth

This photo actually makes me wonder; how many of us can actually fit in that photo booth? Okay in that photo there's 10 of us. Although we didn't really get everyone's full faces, but still I think this is good enough. Enough to make me go "wow... TEN OF US?" and the boys aren't petite types okay. Qilah, Ain and Ellin are not short/petite like me. They're all tall.

I miss the times we go on photo booth. Definitely we'll go crazy; cuz it'll take time for all of us to get ready and when the 3 seconds countdown starts we got panicked. And then after the shots, we have to pick the 4 best photos, and you can imagine how all 10 of us can get to a decision in such a short time when there's like 8-10 photos to choose. Even if there's 3 of us we'll be like "nak yang ni" "ehh tanaklaa muka i x cool a dalam ni" "ish dah tu yang mana?" "ehhh cepat masa nak habis dahhh!"

So we end up just click click click. And voila! 4 photos.

Then comes another gelabah part - to decorate the photos.

Usually there'll be one photo we'll keep without any editing - we like it raw like that. But the rest? Another chaotic situation. Haha.

But seriously, those were the fun parts of taking sticker photos; we can't expect whats coming out, and given;the short period of time we have to make nice photos so everyone will be happy. We don't really use the photo stickers - nowadays we just put them up on fb. I used to put up these sticker photos on my laptop, but then I had to give away my laptop so? My cuzzen actually gets to keep my photos. LOL.

That's the reason why I like Lomography, or instant photos, like Polaroid. The fun comes when we don't know whats coming out from the shots. We just, have faith, and snap. Don't get wrong, I like digital cams as well. But I like old school. My dream is to also own a SLR, and have a dark room for myself. haha. Dreams.
Now I am thinking of buying another lomo cam - maybe a Diana. Most likely will buy the pre-loved one, well I know the owner keeps his stuff well so yeah, let's hope he's still keeping this for me LOL. Still haven't got the chance - always tight on budget *sigh*. This problem goes a long way so maybe one day I'll blog about it.

I miss them. The ones on the photo. I haven't seen those "Maybank dudes" for months, and the same for Mika, Ellin, Qilah & Ain. Well, I miss Welly peeps:

Taken from fb tagged photos - TQ Photogs ;)

I have more to post, but I think its better if I open an album quick. LOL.

Oh boy, you stand by me. I’m forever yours... faithfully

Currently listening to Glee Cast Version of Faithfully.

Love this song. and I love it even more when Finn & Rachel sang it. Perfect. I'll add this song on my playlist :) Plus, on the season finale the Vocal Adrenaline performed Bohemian Rhapsody = MY FAVE KARAOKE SONG! And the whole scene was pretty dramatic. Which is kinda cool. But I still prefer the Queen's version.

Anyway... Glee season one has come to an end. I am going to miss them for the next 3 months!

Friday Night.

I have to admit. Yes, I logged on Facebook every day, but usually its for this. And Pet Society, and Country Story. Okay, I am grateful to have Facebook because I can re-connect with my friends, even my primary school friends. But I am even more grateful to have Facebook so I can have "maintaining a restaurant", "checking on your employees and feed them", "farming", "feeding the chickens, sheep, and duck", "playing with your pet... virtual pet" on my routine. I know, it's very lame, and it shows how I don't really have a life. haha. But I am happy this way. I love playing these games. I don't know when I will have a real restaurant or a farm in my life. I never intend to have one anyway, given the fact that cooking isn't my thing, and I don't know if I will get the chance to have a farm on my own. Actually, I like the idea of having a farm. Well I have been to a few before and I actually like the surroundings. But yeah, tough job. And I have to save money first if I were to have a farm, or even a restaurant. And having a virtual pet is important for me - it's not a perfect substitute, but it is good enough for me. I really miss my cats at home.

Anyway, I just discovered something - well other than it's snowing in Restraurant City (and Country Story... and Pet Society...) - we can extend the exterior part of this restaurant! So I made the entrance through the small outside area for my restraurant instead of using the door and I love it. It goes with my garden theme. But the whole setting is still pretty simple as I don't have a lot of money to buy stuff, and I don't buy Playfish cash (which you need real money to purchase them) so.. less stuff in there. I've looked through some other friends' restaurant and theirs look more organized and they know how to arrange stuff. I am thinking of doing some "major renovations" but I need the money. Guess I have to wait. *sigh*

So I watched the fall finale of Glee this morning. I think it ended well, and there's definitely something to look forward to in April :) And I loovveee the songs choices for the Sectionals episode! I can watch them over and over again, although the song "And I am telling you I am not going" makes me laugh. It just reminded me of the sketch Bunny Business in SNL. Try to find it on youtube, I don't know whether they have it there. Oh here's the incomplete one. It's the one where Taylor Swift impersonated Shakira (and I think she's really good and funny) and Kenan Thompson impersonated Jennifer Hudson. He sang that song, but with lyrics related to that Bunny Business.

I am going to miss Glee :(

Oh btw, do you guys have any new songs to recommend? I've been putting Glee soundtracks on repeat lately, and I don't listen to the radio/watch C4/MTV/Juice for quite awhile now so I don't really know what's new. Maybe I should start listening to the bands who are going to perform at BDO. That's like a month away! Whoa, how time flies. Ah, better try not to get too excited about it... I'm afraid I'll lose all the "excitement mojo" by the time the BDO day arrives.

Recommend me one song :)

Today is "Glee Day"

I was introduced by Aqilah to the new series Glee, and thank God Palie's housemate has all the episodes up to the most recent one so I get to keep myself occupied with it. That series is my current obsession now. Two things that I really love about the show: the comedy and the music. The story line and drama part is not bad, and I think it gets better now, although its pretty slow and sometimes do not make sense (is there really a guy who would believe he can still make babies without sex?). Its about losers in their school who joined the Glee Club and their journey towards the Show Choir competition. I like the values that the creators are trying to impose into the show, in a way they're trying to show awareness to care about other people and be proud of who you are although you are different, and even you are different it's possible to follow your heart and chase your dream.

And I love the comedy. One thing I like about comedy show, you can watch it over and over and it gets funnier. The jokes are pretty cold too, especially for the character Sue Sylvester. I think she's like my favorite. Jane Lynch is really really good.

She's the best!

Another character that I find really funny is Finn. He's supposed to be the hot quarterback who also have the passion for performing. He was actually "blackmailed" to get into Glee Club but he ended up loving it. Yes, he's hot, but I think he's too naive and nice to be the normal hot quarterback - he's the one who was led to believe he can make someone pregnant without sex. LOL bengong gile. That's why I like him, because he's different, and the naive-ness makes him even funnier. hehe.

The music, I think that's the strongest part of the show. They have good soundtrack. And I love all the mash-ups. The songs chosen are used as the glee club's rehearsing songs, and sometimes they sing to express how they feel about certain situations. They make the songs sound more "pop" so they're all catchy, and they're all popular songs so we can sing a long.

But since it's the first season, sadly they only make the first 13 episodes only, which the 13th episode will be aired today (since I am in NZ, it's still Wednesday night in US) so I have to wait until someone upload it online. So this show will be on hiatus, and they'll be back in late March/early April.

I can't wait to watch this episode though, but I'm sad at the same time cuz I know there won't be any new Glee episode next week :(. But come to think of it, it's kind of a good thing because I know I am going to be busy soon, so no Glee means less distractions. And I can download less stuff. eheh.

Enough about Glee, for now :)
