You’re keepin’ secrets on your pillow, Let me inside, no cause for alarm.
Currently listening to Brandon Flowers' Crossfire ♥
*long post alert: in a very girly mode. harap maklum ;)*
Okay back to one of the topics I love to complain about - me and my sense of dressing. LOL
Let's not complain. Instead let's just get inspired and create my wish list.
Nude Color is in!
Oxford Shoes
Hurm. I am torn.
No Jeans
A Doc Martens.. esp the printed ones
Like hers. This one is damn pretty. I fell in love straight away! Well, actually? I fell in love with the whole look.
But then again, I have to make decision on which shoes to buy first. Prioritize!
More skirts and dresses
And I want dresses to be worn as top, or just as a dress. Now looking at some vintage style dresses to experiment. Its because I am petite so sometimes a dress can make me look short. A short dress may look better on me, but I wanna see how it goes with the knee length or full length dresses.
(Oversized) Denim Blue Shirt
I just feel like this piece can go with a lot of things and it's simple. I like :)
Sequined Cardigan/Blazer
New Styles for Hijabs

Okay back to one of the topics I love to complain about - me and my sense of dressing. LOL
Let's not complain. Instead let's just get inspired and create my wish list.
Nude Color is in!
Well I think this has been "in" for quite sometime, and for awhile I am contemplating of whether I'll use this color to make my next baju kurung. Maybe with dark brown/black simple beading/lace on the sleeve? (if you get what I mean.. lol) But I am unsure on how it'll look on me. Cuz you know, that's not actually my nude color :P I am also thinking of owning some of the pieces in that color too. I think its very pretty and it makes us girls look very classy and chic. Even if we choose to go casual like Emma Roberts.
Maybe I should look for that nude colored cardie. ehe.
Oxford Shoes
I already have a pair of Oxfords - but its Oxford heels, and its black. What I am looking for is a brown Oxford! It looks more vintage does it? But currently 1. I hate shopping for shoes cuz I just suck at it. 2. I don't know if they have my size or not. I know the singer songwriter Yuna's iamjetfuelshop has it in brown though I might go there and have a look.
But the thing is, I really need a new pair of heels for work. I wanna go another inch taller than usual. Or just another pair of shoes - I just need a pair for work that's all. Maybe not black this time.
Hurm. I am torn.
No Jeans
I realized that I'll wear jeans whenever I am not at work. Like if not skirts, which I wore very seldom, it'll be jeans. Maybe I should start investing in I don't know, like pleated pants maybe? Any styles will do - wide or skinny, high waisted or not. Maybe I should get more of these... putting a pause on jeans. Altho I am still thinking of getting myself a pair of washed-off blue straight cut jeans. LOL. No, I am gonna say no to jeans for awhile!
A Doc Martens.. esp the printed ones
Like hers. This one is damn pretty. I fell in love straight away! Well, actually? I fell in love with the whole look.
But then again, I have to make decision on which shoes to buy first. Prioritize!
More skirts and dresses
Oh, I just wanna wear more skirts nowadays. But not the tight to the legs ones like pencil skirt - I don't think I'll look good in that too. I want the full length flowy ones, like prairie skirt or poodle skirt, or pleated. I want in pastel colors and with floral prints. Like the one I have in green for example. I need more of those.
This is to go with one dress that I bought last year. Never worn it not even once. It was an impulse purchase. When I saw all dresses for NZD 70 in Max I was like "hey I am in love.. let's buy this"! I couldn't find a picture of it in the catalogue anymore - its not in season obviously lol. But since it's spaghetti string, I figured I need something, maybe a sequined cardigan/blazer to wear on top. I'll put a picture of it once I have time to snap and load it to my blog.
Oh, I need a pants to go with it too - it's not full length sadly. If I could I'd love to avoid leggings or tights. Maybe a satin straight cut or oversized skinnys will do. If not, I always have the neon pink/purple tights to go with it. LOL.
New Styles for Hijabs
Can I start putting up something on top of my hijab? Like flower headbands, or ribbons. To be honest, I am still looking for the best style for me. Other than just wearing the hijabs I have. Now I dig Ayunar's customizable inner - the improvised version of Syria inner. Planning to buy more of those.
And this - Maysaa's Satin Wrap Band Snood. Discovered this from the new uprising star in fashion - Hana Tajima, well its this designer's store Maysaa. It looks pretty convenient if I have it. Actually stuff in her store are pretty cool! But it is in UK. I don't think I can get any of it anytime soon.
Hurm. I guess that's all for now. Well if I were to continue the list will be endless! Obviously. LOL. Maybe I should keep it here so that I can keep track of my items to buy later. Cuz I am in the mood to get new stuff for myself.
I am supposed to do work today but I did something else. Well, at least its something worth the waste of time. :) I am positive so far, after the pretty shitty week I am able to go past thru it with smiles towards the end. So Alhamdulillah :)

Say you'll stay, don't come and go, like you do.
Currently listening to Bic Runga's Sway
What I'd love to do:
1. Cycling at Wetland, Putrajaya.
2. To go up to Broga Hill
I know I'll always ask people why Broga? It's like a trend you know, suddenly everyone goes up to Broga. Its like I don't understand why people think fixed-gear bikes are cool when I think BMX is way cooler - always have and always will be the coolest bicycle ever! :P. Okay Broga, well, I admit it's breathtaking up there. I like the flowy grass on the hill the most! and I saw some people have several shots on a swing that is tied up to a tree. Okay that's the reason why I want to go up there. I don't feel like going up there to watch sunrise. Instead, I feel like how I described above, wearing something nice, and prolly bring a cameraman/woman with me and have some beautiful shots. hahahahah. But I know here in Malaysia, there's no way that you go up a hill without sweating.
Hurm. same goes to cycling '=_=
3. To be living in the 60s. Is that even possible???
I'll blame Mad Men for this.
4. To go shopping.
8. To go to the beach.
I have been longing to go to the beach! I miss just hanging out, soaking up the sun while entertained by the sound of waves, and the cool breeze..
ah.. blisss..
9. To watch fireworks.
Because today is Guy Fawkes and they'll usually have fireworks for 15 mins in Wellington. And I just love fireworks. Its been awhile since I watch one.
What I'd love to do:
1. Cycling at Wetland, Putrajaya.
I don't know why, I just feel like going for a breeze ride down the hill. And maybe just walk back up :P haha. But I don't want to do it to sweat myself out, instead, I want to wear pretty skirt and tucked-in shirt, with a scarf and probably a flower or ribbon on top and riding a bicycle with a basket in front.
Maybe I can plug-in my iPod and listen to Sound of Music soundtrack. Wait, I don't have them in my iPod! haven't ripped the old CD. Shucks. Ah well, other songs will do.
2. To go up to Broga Hill
got this from google

3. To be living in the 60s. Is that even possible???
I'll blame Mad Men for this.
I love how this series potrays the 60s. Actually I don't know very much about that era, but I think this show sums up (at least) most of the things about it. I mean we can really see how they address the current issues the Americans/most people have during that time, like you know, sexism, adultery, racism, how smoking is so in, etc. Reminded me how tough things were especially for some people; especially women. One of the characters show some 'girl power' - maybe thats the starting point for feminist.
However, one of the great things about the 60s for women, which is the main reason why I wanna be in the 60s, is the fashion. OMG I love the 60s fashion! If you watch the series, look at the ladies and their dresses, especially Betty Draper. Hers are the best! Plus, watching the show makes me want to be in advertising, and have a brilliant boss like Don Draper. Its not so much because he's an eye candy (well, why not? makes you wanna work harder right :P haha but he's more like a womanizer so I don't fancy him for that), but to learn from him and his brilliant ideas. And his quotes are like the best.
From the pilot episode I was struck by a few of his lines already. I was like.. yeah, true that! ahah.
Hah I am in love with that series :)
Okay, moving on!
4. To go shopping.
Haha. The urge to get some new pretty clothes just kicked in recently. I have been trying to change my sense of style, well I guess its always like you know, back to square one. Back to being the plain jane I always have been. And everytime I was thinking about styles, I'll be going back to the same style that I always wanted, but never got the chance to get the stuff - which is vintage. Maybe I'll elaborate this more on another post. Maybe.
5. Watching the plane departs.
I haven't got the chance to do this at all. Wanna join me?
6. To get back on track with my lomo.
Dah berhabuk dah kot? pffttt. And I have been planning to get myself a Diana - and until now I haven't bought one for myself. Always have to use the money I kinda save up for something else. pffttt.
7. To catch up on Gossip Girl, Supernatural and to finish ugly betty.
I am one season behind for both GG and Supernatural. And I am a few episodes away from the series finale for Ugly Betty. Anyone cares to share if you have the series?
Okay I made the list. I realized how I love making list on things I'd like to do. Maybe I should put them up in a book, and tick every bit of things I've done. Its sort of like a bucket list. I guess.
8. To go to the beach.
I have been longing to go to the beach! I miss just hanging out, soaking up the sun while entertained by the sound of waves, and the cool breeze..
ah.. blisss..

p/s: notice a pattern on every little thing I wanted to do? ehe

I... wish you were here. I... wish. you. were. here.
Currently listening to Incubus' I Wish You Were Here
Its currently gloomy outside. After the morning rain. So the weather is just nice.
During this kind of weather, usually what I'd love to do is, to open the windows, then just chilling on the bed while surfing the net, get inspired and enjoy the quiet cooling day.
Sadly I can't do that today. Well I've given myself a hour (or two :P) to go through lookbook and appreciate what other fashion lovers out there would define the art of being a fashionista. And I've posted that jumpsuit look on my own lb, making it my first ever (and hopefully not the last) look. Well, that's the only full body look that I have. *sigh*
Anyway, I still have 4 posts pending cuz I haven't finish babbling about fashion stuff. Actually if I go thru my drafted posts, there are more than 4.
...pfftt..

I hope you understand, it's nothing to you.
Currently listening to TLC's Damaged
Well hey, this genius playlist is not bad. It's based on Beyonce's Disappear. There's Alicia Keys, TLC, Corinne Bailey Rae, Duffy, Boyz II Men and many more, and oh - of course, Destiny's Child.
Anyway. Okay another thing that has always been bothering me : my sense of dressing, and taking care of self.
Often I said I want to dress up something suitable for my age. But when I go out, people thought I am seventeen. Obviously it's because I don't dress up according to my age. Okay, what should a girl in her 20s wear by the way?
I signed up an account on lookbook.nu, with hope that I will start posting up outfits that I wear in the weekends - since weekdays I've become this plain jane. I even stop wearing make ups now that my face is full of pimples. Sometimes I tried dressing up but I never got the chance to take a photo. To be honest, it's hard because my bros will start teasing and asking me to stop so I have no one to help, and yeah, I don't feel like taking photos this year I don't know why.
I only have one full outfit and I think I didn't rock the outfit. Let's see..

I love this jumpsuit. It's from Jeans West. Maybe I should try wearing heels with it so I'll look taller.
And let me try to post up whatever pics I found on my fb (tagged ones so I can see my dressing for this year)
I like this skirt. Bought it in the year 2003. Long time ago huh? Looking for something similar though...
Another shirt from Jeans West. Love that shop.
I love this dress from Glassons!
...that's all I have. Damn. I don't really take pictures this year. But really, do I look seventeen wearing those? Not really right? Maybe I should take more photos and see how it goes. A few photos are not enough to come to a conclusion.
Well at least now I tend to wear less t-shirts so that should be an achievement yes? Although sometimes I do, especially when I am like super lazy to dress up.
I should substitutes baby tees with oversized ones. Plain, oversized ones.
And I need more cardies. And skirts. And casual shirts. And loose pants. And heels? Okay that one, that have to wait.
I still have problems buying shoes. For now, I am fine with my Keds - it's canvas and it's flats. Not heels. I am sorry, that, I cannot let go. I just loovee flats. Its not that I don't love heels, I do. But I don't know how to wear them without complaining. Sometimes I wonder, does it have any relation to that little accident that I have - the one where my feet went into the bicycle rims. But yes, sometimes I realized I cannot put too much pressure on my right foot or it hurts.
But now I am starting slow - like wearing my oxford heels during working hours. haha. That helps.. a bit.
And, if you don't mind, would you care to share any tips on how you can buy a perfect pair of shoes? Since I got back, I haven't really own a pair that is super comfortable.
Its always like, either I bought one size/ a few sizes larger, or I bought the 'perfect' size but its actually not that perfect.
I want another pair of Keds, but sadly there's none in Malaysia. Pedder Red has closed down.. so sad.
Okay. Another ramblings. Ehe. And from this, I can say that... I need a shopping & fashion guru to help me out. kan?
...ni tak include all those fashion faux-pas moments lagi. lol.

Its always times like these when I think of you and I wonder if you ever think of me.
Currently listening to Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles.
I first heard of this from one of my darling bitches Nana. She was the one who discovered this. Its from Denmark. I think its the new kind of charm bracelet and better one too; you screw the charms in instead of you hook the charms on the bracelet. So its much safer.
At first I didn't think of getting one for myself. Well, number one its quite pricey if I were to buy a set of beads (the charms are called beads) & the bracelet. It can go up to NZD1000+. But if I were to collect one by one, I am afraid that I stop collecting when I get back - they don't have a store here in Malaysia.
But then, during my graduation... that was in 2008. In December to be exact, and my parents came for the event. On the way home, instead of we flew to Auckland, parents decided to drive up. So we stopped by at a very nice and quiet city New Plymouth and while we were passing by the antiques and jewelry stores after breakfast, Ayah saw this. That attracted him to go into the store to find out more about it.
He's interested. And he thought that I should start a collection. A new way to commemorate all the important events happened/happening in my life. One bead that tells one story. And also, later when I am older I can pass this down to my daughter/grand daughter as a family heirloom. That was the perfect timing too as I just graduated kan - one of the important events in my life. So he bought me the bracelet, and two beads.
That's the start of everything. I started to collect this. Slowly.
My collection is still small - not many important events happened in a year kann. But now I am back in Malaysia, its even harder to find the beads. The nearest store to us Malaysians is in Singapore. And I have compared the prices, somehow NZ is selling a wee bit cheaper than Singapore. I wonder why.
But yeah, Pandora doesn't sell only the charm bracelets, they're also selling other jewelries. You can put the charms on the necklace, and also if I'm not mistaken they have customized rings. Not so sure about that ehe. But the rings look pretty cool. Check out their store to see what's there!
Last week my parents went down to Singapore so I kirim-ed them a few beads for me. From what they heard, they are planning to open one store in Malaysia! woo hoo!! :D
Let's hope thats true. Aminn.
Well, if you want to start this kind of collection in Malaysia you can always opt for Thomas Sabo. Those ones are pretty cool too. Plus, they have Ariel, the Little Mermaid charm! damnnn.
Before this, I always think of charm bracelet as something what someone would buy to a girl to express how much she meant to that person. Don't know why I didn't think of it as something someone can buy to herself to tell her life story.

THE WOWSOME WOW!
A lot of information are taken from http://www.worldofwearableart.com/
Caution: this post is gonna be long. So bear with me peeps. haha.
Every year starting the 2nd year of my stay in Wellington, W.o.W has always been on my 'must-see list' of the year. Unfortunately for me, luck wasn't on my side. But not THIS YEAR! Cuz I found the suitable time, and I have someone who also wanna go to this event, so last week's Friday, that was the 2nd of October, Ain and I went to the World of WearableArt show!!
How was it? I have mentioned this everywhere (fb status & twitter, & my title up there) but I am going to say this again. It was WOWSOME!! the whole thing was just magical... I was in awe all the time. I am like a little girl watching a fairytale comes to live, with "wooowww" and "OMG!...cantik gilee" or ... a lot of other mumbling and whispering to Ain on how much I love those beautiful wearable arts. I hope she wasn't distracted. hehe. If I was quiet at that time, it's because my jaw just dropped. Like how Bruce in Bruce Almighty said : it was B-E-A-utiful!
It's like a combination of a fashion show and Disney's Fantasia. Only live, right in front of your eyes.
There were 7 sections altogether, and my favorite will be:

There were 7 sections altogether, and my favorite will be:
The Illumination Illusion Section
Float, Fly, Flow
Using the magic and illusion of UV light, create a garment to perform in and WOW the audience that appears to float, fly or flow through space and levitate above the stage. Consider the concept of the body as the focus.
interesting kan? Yes, I am sure it WOWs everyone. And this is my personal favorite garment for this section, and for the whole event:
Wanderer by Sue Caderman of Motueka
Inspired by an American Indian legend about butterflies.
Made of: Nylon, Cotton, Paint, Netting, Wire, Paper
The butterflies around the girl just fly around her. It's so beautiful. But she's just the runner-up of that section. The winner is this:
Into Thin Air by Marie Gant Roxburgh of Christchurch
Like roman relics that disappear over time, so too do our memories, fading into thin air.
Made of: Foamboard, dowel, photocopied photos, MDF
She deserved it. This piece is so detailed - it is actually layers of papers (i think its to create different shades of the face), and yes, it moves around, then it disappeared, then it appears again, then poof! gone. Mesmerizing! If you see it yourself you'll agree with me..
So the other 6 sections are: Children's Section (At the Bottom of the Garden), South Pacific Section (Patterns of the Pacific), Open Section, Creative Excellent Section (Theme: Fold - transformation of the flat surface through folding to emerge as a sculptural WearableArt garment), Man Unleased Section (Magnificent Men), and Avant Garde Section (where art and fashion collide!)

The overall winner for this year's W.o.W:
Lady of the Wood by David Walker of the US
The ball gowns of the 18th & 19th centuries.
Made of: Mahogany, lacewood, maple, cedar
No wonder this is 2009 Winner Supreme Montana WOW Award and winner for the section, the Avant Garde. It is made of wood basically. hehe.
My other personal picks:
The Dandelion Clock by Tracey Koole of Auckland
In folklore, the hour is told by the number of puffs it takes to blow all the seeds of a dandelion globe
Made of: Plastic, fibreglass, foam and fabric
Winner of the Children Section
Well this is my favorite too for this section. Who doesn't like dandelions? From time to time the two small ones will fly away from the main dandelion. So cute!
Queen Adelaide by Emma Whiteside of Wellington
Remnants of a forgotten NZ industry are reflected in the splendour of a unique queen, honoured in a shimmering burst of light.
Made of: Automotive radiator copper, fabric, aluminium
Winner of Shell Sustainability Award
And guess what? She's a Vic Student! bangga tak?
There are more, but they were not featured in the website as they are not winners. So I don't have their photos.
Anyway, who thinks this one looks scary?
Anyway, who thinks this one looks scary?
Lagarus Ovatus En Masse by Catherine Anderton of Wellington
When this mystical creature leaves his warren, he doesn't crawl out of the ground, he is the ground.
Made of: Grass, faux fur, fibreglass, fimo
Winner of First Time Entrant Award and Runner up for the Open Section
Haha. I think he looks scary. Reminds me of that Donnie Darko creature, or like a combination of an armadillo and a rabbit. kan? Ah well, he wins 2 awards that night. Not bad!
and haha since we're going to this kind of event, I've decided to wear something so-called "artsy" than how I usually wear. So I choose color-clashing stuff. Another reason is that I really wanna wear that shocking pink tights. haha.
So that's the end of my WoW story. I wish I can go again next year, and definitely going to pick the more expensive seat. Seriously its worth the money you spent. Those who wants to experience something really cool, magnificent, beautiful, something surprising, please go.
p/s: Oh thank you Ain, big time! thank you for joining me! it's more fun to go with you!! we should hang out more! Summer k?

Wayfarer.
Once I tumblr-ed that I wanna give this a shot.
The verdict? I was right all along.
I can never fit into these. Its so sad!
Sometimes I wonder, when I am going to start wearing sunnies, the big ones I mean. Like aviators for example. Or something like the wayfarer. My mom always urged me to buy one, as she said its actually good for your eye protection; huge-ass frames - they cover your eyes. And of course, its fashionable. But the thing is, other than I look like a lalat wearing it, I just don't feel comfortable wearing it. The thing is, my nose is small and penyek. Or maybe I haven't found the right pair. I don't know if I ever will. Well okay, I think I found one before. Not the perfect one, but good enough. And that's the problem. Good enough isn't good enough! I may sound picky, but yeah, its better to find the perfect pair than the good enough ones and you ended up not wearing it after awhile.
So far what I think is perfect for a sunglass - is the Wayfarer! Its classic, it looks cool, and it looks comfortable wearing it. But not comfortable for me. That's sad. Sometimes I feel like getting a nose job so that I can wear it! Okay that's way too much. heh.
I will find the perfect pair for me. One day I will :)

You know what? Out of randomness suddenly I can come out with these:
- the right person for you is like the perfect pair of sunglasses (the one that fits on you perfectly).
- Sometimes what we call perfect is something we cannot have. What we can have is something less than perfect, but you're comfortable with it, it's nice for you to look at and you'll love it a lot.

Holiday Wrap-up.
Currently on repeat: BEP's I Got a Feeling.
1. I think after my first year here, this is another long winter holiday. Almost a month. And... apparently I stayed home the whole time!
2. I did some beading.
3. And some doodling. I think I am going to start filling up the huge Jordi Labanda notebook with the doodles seriously. Sometimes I wish I have my own Moleskine. The small soft cover one I mean. Because the JL notebook that I have is too big. But then the notebook is too nice for me to just scribble up some notes. Definitely I must fill it with stuff that I find memorable and worth to keep. hee.

4. I did my marathon of TV Series to catch up with Pushing Daisies and Supernatural.
It's sad that 2nd season will be their last. And so far I just watched half of them. Since they're finishing soon, so I am going to take it easy. Probably will just watch them from time to time.
But yeah, watching this movie will definitely made me feel like baking a pie for myself. And since I am too lazy to look for strawberries and cherries, so I went to Sweet Mother's Kitchen. To me their pies are the best.
In 2-3 days, I managed to finish up both Season 3 and 4. Well, honestly I find the storyline is so twisted and way too much for my liking, but surprisingly I still love it. I just love the two brothers. Can't wait for Season 5 to come out soon, and I am happy that I am back on track.
5.
I make it a point to have lunch/tea at Gloria Jeans the Borders to have my weekly dose of magazines, my favorite vegetarian quiche and mango chiller. Yeah although its cold outside, I just cannot resist the chiller.
Oh this picture was taken last year, by Haz. And no that's not mango chiller. Haha.
6. Since all of my holiday plans were canceled, I decided to spend the money on the unnecessary stuff happily. Like these:

Got these from Diva. I find them pretty cute, and yeah kononnye nak make these as self-reminders; to live life, and try to make peace with myself, and at the same time to find ways to spread some peace-ness around the world. haha. WTV. They're just so cute and cool to me :)
and I got myself this:
and I got myself this:
Yes I think I am out of my mind. Probably won't be wearing this until the 19th/20th of November. Haha. I don't own both of them. So guess which one is mine? It's obvious right?
Oh and I bought more tees this time. So much of trying to avoid them. But this time I opted for oversized ones, suddenly I just have the urge to go more laid back and towards street style. I even bought some neon-colored tights. And honestly don't know when I am going to put them on. haha.
Probably I should look for skinny jeans, and some new plain and long (longer than the ones I already have) cardies. And somehow I feel like getting myself some funky leg warmers.
Got myself a pair of presentable walking shoes. Finally. But until today, it is still "eating" my feet. I still have problems of getting a perfectly good pair. Can anybody drop me some tips please? It's so sad. Hopefully it'll expand soon.

Okay maybe this is not as cool as GelaSkins, but it is cheaper, and I think it's not too bad. Thanks to Smiggle. It's more like a kid stationery shop, but I just love the shop! I even bought a pack of cute playing cards. Oh I kinda making a collection of playing cards. Started it since 2nd year. But I haven't really started serious collecting yet.
I even shopped some beads online, and now I am looking for this:
But I am still contemplating. By far I like colorsplash the best. I don't know why. Should I?
7. I watched tons of movies, as usual. Haha. And I find myself connected to the character Cristina in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Probably will do a post on this. I bought Spirited Away DVD two days ago so terubat rindu kat movie tu. Hehe. I just watched Once and I like it. The soundtrack is just so nice! Another movie that I love is Speed Racer. Bring back the memories of my childhood. haha.
8. Went to Japan Festival yesterday and was disappointed. Was expecting more sushi stalls, and more craft items on sale. The fashion show is cute though :)
9. I have a little bit more to blog but my time is up so I am just going to leave it as it is. Other stuffs were not interesting pon. I have to go out for awhile, although the weather is pretty sucky now. Civic just called to inform that all Harry Potter movies is available for me so I have to go and pick up. We're gonna do marathon soon. I don't know when. Must be before the 6th movie comes out.
p/s: to add up : 10. Surprisingly I find my holidays were not as bad as I think. Alhamdulillah.

it's all about trend & fashion.
One new craze for girls in Malaysia : online shopping. going to bazaars for more fashion items :)
And many of them have created a fashion blog, get a supplier and start selling em online. Some, made the products themselves (handmade).
You can see what kind of trends or fashion they're into now. But I wonder, will they really wear electric pink opaque tights in Malaysia? If yes, they're really daring! I likee...
A friend, a cousin, and an aunty have opened their own. But all of them are selling totally different range of stuffs.
Maybe you guys should check them out. Visit ShopReina, Saya Sukalah & The FrouFrou (they're on my 'etcetera : fashion' tab on your left.)
There are more. Well, maybe by visiting Bijou Bazaar blog may give you another listing of fellow sellers. And if you blog hopped to some of your malaysian friends' blogs, try and look at their favourite links. They may have some too.
In Malaysia, they even have bazaar like the Bijou Bazaar or Threadzoo where all of them (who sell things online or maybe not online) gathered at one place and people would come and buy. You can get nice things for reasonable prices there while listening to the live music & enjoying the crowd. Well I am pretty sure the prices are reasonable cuz its a bazaar. and from what I see when I bloghopped, the prices are okay ;)
I love to see how people are revolving now. We have more enterpreneurs (thats what I see it). Creative ones in fact. That means theres more competitions. And these young people are doing things that they like. They don't waste time. I think this is healthy :)
How I wished I am there in Malaysia. So I can join the fun. We don't have flea market here. Maybe not in town je kot. I don't know... I seldom go out of town.
Before this, I do have intentions of selling my beads. Once I finish doing em. But I don't dare to. Cuz #1 I still need more practice in handling the threads and #2Terlalu sayang sampai tak nak jual. So yeah. I keep em all to myself :D he he
I can't wait to go back. So I can go to the bazaars and see whats really there. Maybe I can go & catch up with my aunt (actually she's my dad's cuzzen. but she's only a few years older than me :P)/my cuzzen. See their products. And maybe I can support them too :)
Maybe from time to time, I'll blog about any fashion blog that I found one fashion blog that I find interesting. In a way, I can do a free advert for them. Haha. Like they stumbled upon mine :p
But who cares. Its for a good cause anyway :)

Mix & Match
I'm getting more active on Polyvore. I can't start if not I won't stop. Its totally fun to mix and match things. It all started when I asked myself... "What if I have a lot of money. What will I buy?" or "what kind of fashion will I choose?". And sometimes I just simply choose, letting my imagination run wild, pick whatever I feel nice and accessorize em.
I am more excited when I found hijabs. Before this the sets that I made were all not meant for ladies who wear hijabs.
So I am now starting to make new sets and this time, with hijabs.
Me love Polyvore =)
