Holiday Wrap-up.

Currently on repeat: BEP's I Got a Feeling.

1. I think after my first year here, this is another long winter holiday. Almost a month. And... apparently I stayed home the whole time!

2. I did some beading.

3. And some doodling. I think I am going to start filling up the huge Jordi Labanda notebook with the doodles seriously. Sometimes I wish I have my own Moleskine. The small soft cover one I mean. Because the JL notebook that I have is too big. But then the notebook is too nice for me to just scribble up some notes. Definitely I must fill it with stuff that I find memorable and worth to keep. hee.

4. I did my marathon of TV Series to catch up with Pushing Daisies and Supernatural.

It's sad that 2nd season will be their last. And so far I just watched half of them. Since they're finishing soon, so I am going to take it easy. Probably will just watch them from time to time.

But yeah, watching this movie will definitely made me feel like baking a pie for myself. And since I am too lazy to look for strawberries and cherries, so I went to Sweet Mother's Kitchen. To me their pies are the best.

In 2-3 days, I managed to finish up both Season 3 and 4. Well, honestly I find the storyline is so twisted and way too much for my liking, but surprisingly I still love it. I just love the two brothers. Can't wait for Season 5 to come out soon, and I am happy that I am back on track.

5.
I make it a point to have lunch/tea at Gloria Jeans the Borders to have my weekly dose of magazines, my favorite vegetarian quiche and mango chiller. Yeah although its cold outside, I just cannot resist the chiller.

Oh this picture was taken last year, by Haz. And no that's not mango chiller. Haha.

6. Since all of my holiday plans were canceled, I decided to spend the money on the unnecessary stuff happily. Like these:
Got these from Diva. I find them pretty cute, and yeah kononnye nak make these as self-reminders; to live life, and try to make peace with myself, and at the same time to find ways to spread some peace-ness around the world. haha. WTV. They're just so cute and cool to me :)
and I got myself this:
Yes I think I am out of my mind. Probably won't be wearing this until the 19th/20th of November. Haha. I don't own both of them. So guess which one is mine? It's obvious right?

Oh and I bought more tees this time. So much of trying to avoid them. But this time I opted for oversized ones, suddenly I just have the urge to go more laid back and towards street style. I even bought some neon-colored tights. And honestly don't know when I am going to put them on. haha.

Probably I should look for skinny jeans, and some new plain and long (longer than the ones I already have) cardies. And somehow I feel like getting myself some funky leg warmers.

Got myself a pair of presentable walking shoes. Finally. But until today, it is still "eating" my feet. I still have problems of getting a perfectly good pair. Can anybody drop me some tips please? It's so sad. Hopefully it'll expand soon.

I did this to my NDS:

Okay maybe this is not as cool as GelaSkins, but it is cheaper, and I think it's not too bad. Thanks to Smiggle. It's more like a kid stationery shop, but I just love the shop! I even bought a pack of cute playing cards. Oh I kinda making a collection of playing cards. Started it since 2nd year. But I haven't really started serious collecting yet.

I even shopped some beads online, and now I am looking for this:

But I am still contemplating. By far I like colorsplash the best. I don't know why. Should I?

7. I watched tons of movies, as usual. Haha. And I find myself connected to the character Cristina in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Probably will do a post on this. I bought Spirited Away DVD two days ago so terubat rindu kat movie tu. Hehe. I just watched Once and I like it. The soundtrack is just so nice! Another movie that I love is Speed Racer. Bring back the memories of my childhood. haha.

8. Went to Japan Festival yesterday and was disappointed. Was expecting more sushi stalls, and more craft items on sale. The fashion show is cute though :)

9. I have a little bit more to blog but my time is up so I am just going to leave it as it is. Other stuffs were not interesting pon. I have to go out for awhile, although the weather is pretty sucky now. Civic just called to inform that all Harry Potter movies is available for me so I have to go and pick up. We're gonna do marathon soon. I don't know when. Must be before the 6th movie comes out.

p/s: to add up : 10. Surprisingly I find my holidays were not as bad as I think. Alhamdulillah.

Just another windy night. But this time, its very windy. I am scared.

Enough of fantasy movies. Haha. Actually, its singular. Fantasy movie. Yes, I watched that movie... again and again. Howl's character never bore me. Honestly, if I were to choose between Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, storyline wise I'll definitely choose Spirited Away over the latter.

Well, I accompanied Nana & Vivy one time. And then I had another round with Qilah. So basically I have been accompanying people to watch that movie. I don't mind really. haha.

I watched another movie. This time its chick-flick time. I chose "Because I said So".

Well I think the movie is alright. Very light. And the character Johnny is such an eye-candy! He's played by the actor Gabriel Macht. Googled him up cuz I think he has Johnny Depp's resemblance (I don't know why:P), I just wanna see if they're related by any chance. haha. In the end I found out that he's gonna be in Frank Miller's The Spirit. I know that I like Frank Miller's movies. So I think I am going to wait for this :)

Mandy Moore is cuter in this movie. haha why am I mentioning this? er...

And watching this movie shows things mother and daughter do together. Maybe not the match making service part tho. They remind me of my mother and I.

Earlier this evening I just realized that the character Scout and Calpurnia in the book To Kill a Mockingbird reminds me of Kak Nah and I. Oh yeah I just started reading it. And I am aiming to finish it. I am not a fan of books. but yeah I am looking for a change.

Now I am relating myself to the characters in the movies, books. Being the day dreamer I am, I definitely wonder... wonder what will it be if people make a movie about me. Or maybe a book about me.

Seriously I am so jobless right now. I have too much free time right now. Ended up day dreaming more frequent than ever. I should be looking for jobs right now, but apparently its so hard to find one-offs. There are summer works. But I am not gonna to be here for the whole three months.

Or else I'd have definitely tried the zoo. Or the Vet.

Haha yes. I am interested in working there. be in touch with the animals.

Maybe I should consider this for next year part time. I can imagine myself playing with cats at the vet already. *sigh* that would be so fun. Oh have I told you that I saw pumpkin the other day?

... I think I should stop thinking and talking about cats too much.

What one night can do to me? I wonder too much already! I don't remember hanging out at night in the city anymore. I don't remember lepak-ing at the coffee shops for so long. Although we went out last night to Strawberry Fare. Giving Lika a treat before she headed home this morning. Maybe cuz last night was quiet. Its not thursday/friday night. So its different. But staying home at night, and slacking is such a bliss! Maybe I should get my time alone outside. Not in the room. The space is too small for me to think about everything.

I need to plan for my summer. I haven't done that one yet. I have been telling myself that for hundreds of times already.

Jeez.

Empty.

Sometimes the last thing you want comes in first,
Sometimes the first thing you want never comes,
I know, that waiting is all you can do,
Sometimes...
Aqualung's Strange & Beautiful - currently on repeat. together with Aqualung's If I fall, and Easier to Lie.

He's the most handsome fictional animated character I've ever seen in my whole life... so far. Watched him for the third time, and I never got bored of him, oh and the movie. Howl's Moving Castle. I always love Hayao Miyazaki's. I'll find time to finish the box set. One day.

The first time I watched this was when I was in my first year. That was... 2 years ago? And apparently I kinda forgot the storyline. So I refreshed my mind by watching it again this morning. and tiba2 rasa tak puas. So I watched it for the second time just now.

Thanks to Iynas for the movie. Altho it has been dubbed, for the sake of wanting to refresh my mind, I take it anyway.

yeah I don't quite like Japanese movies that have been dubbed. I prefer it to be in Japanese. Cuz it sounded weird to me, having it dubbed into English. And its kinda funny to know that Christian Bale did the voice over for Howl. Its like having Batman becomes some vain heartless guy.

You know what? I don't think I gt bored by this movie. Maybe not yet. I don't mind watching it again. Probably it'll take time.

Maybe I should re-watch Totoro and Spirited Away. That should be fun :)

Anyway, yeah I should be looking for jobs. but I want to spend time with lika. She's going back in 2 days.

whoa. How time flies. It feels like she just dropped me a message yesterday. Telling me that she's coming. When was that? 2 months ago?

How time flies.

hopefully the weather will be alright tomorrow. So that we can spend more time outside =) under the sun.

Okay I think I am going to stay in bed now. I should go to sleep. I need to save. Dah nak exceed. Puasa video streaming. Puasa download. Puasa internet.

And maybe I should really list down what I want to do for the whole summer. Cuz I know theres many things to do. So little time. I should try to choose what I think I can do. hmm..

I'm off. I wanna dream about Howl.

Okay this is crazy.

Bye bye holiday :(

I decided to end my holiday by watching one of my Studio Ghibli movies, and I this time I chose to watch Grave of the Fireflies.

It's Abang's favourite. Kalau tak silap lah. haha. Cuz he keeps on asking me to watch this movie. Well, honestly watching this movie reminds me of him. All the time.

Especially at this point of time.

For the past few days, I keep on having "How I wish..." thoughts on everything; on how last trimester ended and BERSATU Games 2008. And I still cannot believe that it's all over. Personally I feel that all of us can do better than that. Everyone would say the same thing. But I think we shouldn't complain. Well at least, if you want to say something, you should at least find out what has happened. Not just jump to conclusions, say things you think you know etc.

Anyway, no matter how much you fret and complain, it won't change what has been done in the past right?

We have given all out. We have tried our best.

Okay I won't say much. But its pretty disappointing to see people complain when they don't know almost everything. More to my disappointment to see people comparing two things that is too different to be compared.

But thats life. We can't stop people from what they're doing.

What we do now is to look ahead, learn from what we have done from the past and look forward to make changes in the future.

However I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is a part of BERSATU Games 2008. Be it the management committees, the volunteers, and even our contingent WMSO and its supporters.

As for the committees, I know shit happens right? But given the circumstances that we have, we still manage to stay on and finish it til the end. There are mistakes. and like Kak Farah said, we didn't deny em. Instead we've tried our best to overcome whatever comes along the way. I am so proud of you guys. I thank you guys for all you guys have done in handling this event.

As for the volunteers, thank you for lending a hand. You guys have no idea how thankful we all are to have people like you guys to support. We appreciate every help that you guys give. Even the smallest contribution. We thank you so much.

As for our contingent, WMSO, I know this year is tough for you guys. The competitions are getting so much stronger. Everyone is great. Well to me you guys played with style. Hot tu. haha. But yeah do know that we're all proud of you guys.

And to our supporters, some may not realized but you guys have tried to cheer as loud as you can to support our atheletes. You guys had fun kan? Oh and we thank you for the support. hehe. And to sports committee, thank you for the effort you guys have in making the materials for supporters especially our mascot for the year. Comel gile ok!

And to everyone else, whether you guys directly or indirectly involved, I'd like to say thank you very much for being a part of this event. And I'm sorry if I offended you or if I wasn't being nice to you through out the whole one-week period. k?

Comments and complaints can be constructive. Therefore I'd like to thank you guys for that. However, I do think these people also deserve compliments and recognitions too. More than anything else. I'd like to also thank those who has already acknowledge what everyone has done in running this whole event=)

So peeps! life goes on. Let's all rise again, and prepare for the better future. Concluding from what some of us have already said, life is a learning process. We have to learn something in order to move forward. Just don't give up!

And last but not least, congratulations to everyone. To the winners, champions, and to everyone else.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrrow is another new day. Sat down for awhile to think of what needs to be done. Then I realized... Its still a loong way to go.

My time to chill is up. Its time to get back on track.

All the best to everyone! and selamat kembali ke sekolah!

Oh abang, I cried watching the last part of the movie.

I miss you :(
