Nana & Imran - got engaged on 5 Feb 2012
It was one of the most beautiful weekends I had in my entire life. Everything is just so perfect.
To both of you, Nonie & Nana, I am very happy for you both. Still can't believe they happened though, everything was so surreal! Now one of us has taken that BIG step, and another is on her way... I guess we are all grown up already :P And InsyaAllah, there will be little ones to join this family? hehe. My prayers are always with you all. May you have an everlasting love, and a beautiful marriage. Amin :)
p/s: Never felt so happy in a long time - I can even finish a burger at 2am! Have to say, that's really something, considering I have appetite problem for awhile now. So I have to thank you girls for that.
Really, thank you :)

The first to get engaged. Like I told them earlier, we could say that we are on the right track; the eldest of all got engaged first (and InsyaAllah, will be the first to marry someone! aminn). So if we were to follow birth dates, I'll be the second from the last person. Woop woop! no pressure for me, but with that I'm putting Aqilah under so much pressure now do I? hehe.
Anyhoo, Nonie, like I've said almost everywhere I guess? congratulations girl! you look absolutely gorgeous on your special day, and everything else is just so puurrrdddyyy! And its nice to finally get to meet your then BF and now fiancee, and hopefully we get to know him better before the big day. No more keeping him from us! :P
haha. okay. As if I'm engaged, and sharing the story of my engagement with Palie & Qilah, :P

More fireworks.
So my birthday + F1 weekend has ended. Well it was simple, I didn't celebrate my birthday actually but I'll just consider it as one special weekend. Definitely was fun and there's fireworks! Been blabbing about how I can never get enough of it over and over in this blog, so yes, I am beyond happy to see them! But it kinda made me miss Wellington & its Guy Fawkes night though.
Anyhoo, I am grateful for everything. Thank you family and friends for your time, especially Nana for F1 experience you've given me :) Alhamdulillah.

Okay I owe myself a few completed posts. I was exhausted for the past few days that I fell asleep right after dinner, and didn't wake up til morning. So yes there'll be some random backdated posts coming up :P You'll be confused and not knowing which comes first and which one comes in later. Well I have drafted stuff too. So yeh.
Just realized Shaz's posted some new photos on FB. And I love love love this one:
lol how cool do I look?
Anyway it's birthday season now. I just got back from the bitches night out celebrating Nonie's 25th.
And on the way to meet them I sort of decided on a new theme for my April's playlist. Since its my special month, I'm gonna go back 10 years, and pick 1 or 2 songs for each year. 2001 - 2011.
I can call them the soundtrack of my life. It doesn't have to be something that reflected any significant event in my life. It could also be the current fave song in that year.
So let's get started.

Thank you for the funny everyday stories
for being honest
for sticking by me no matter how annoying I can be
for the constant caring
for the love
Just feel like giving them the shout out. Somehow I feel that lately we are a lot closer than usual. Shall I thank the WhatsApp and Twitter?
Anyhoo, I cut that picture. The original is this
2008 Malaysian Night
which was inspired by this picture
2006 Malaysian Night
wonder where's Daz in the previous picture. Anyhoo. Miss hanging out with all of them. We really should have some kind of a reunion or something huh?

I first heard of this from one of my darling bitches Nana. She was the one who discovered this. Its from Denmark. I think its the new kind of charm bracelet and better one too; you screw the charms in instead of you hook the charms on the bracelet. So its much safer.
At first I didn't think of getting one for myself. Well, number one its quite pricey if I were to buy a set of beads (the charms are called beads) & the bracelet. It can go up to NZD1000+. But if I were to collect one by one, I am afraid that I stop collecting when I get back - they don't have a store here in Malaysia.
But then, during my graduation... that was in 2008. In December to be exact, and my parents came for the event. On the way home, instead of we flew to Auckland, parents decided to drive up. So we stopped by at a very nice and quiet city New Plymouth and while we were passing by the antiques and jewelry stores after breakfast, Ayah saw this. That attracted him to go into the store to find out more about it.
He's interested. And he thought that I should start a collection. A new way to commemorate all the important events happened/happening in my life. One bead that tells one story. And also, later when I am older I can pass this down to my daughter/grand daughter as a family heirloom. That was the perfect timing too as I just graduated kan - one of the important events in my life. So he bought me the bracelet, and two beads.
That's the start of everything. I started to collect this. Slowly.
My collection is still small - not many important events happened in a year kann. But now I am back in Malaysia, its even harder to find the beads. The nearest store to us Malaysians is in Singapore. And I have compared the prices, somehow NZ is selling a wee bit cheaper than Singapore. I wonder why.
But yeah, Pandora doesn't sell only the charm bracelets, they're also selling other jewelries. You can put the charms on the necklace, and also if I'm not mistaken they have customized rings. Not so sure about that ehe. But the rings look pretty cool. Check out their store to see what's there!
Last week my parents went down to Singapore so I kirim-ed them a few beads for me. From what they heard, they are planning to open one store in Malaysia! woo hoo!! :D
Let's hope thats true. Aminn.
Well, if you want to start this kind of collection in Malaysia you can always opt for Thomas Sabo. Those ones are pretty cool too. Plus, they have Ariel, the Little Mermaid charm! damnnn.
Before this, I always think of charm bracelet as something what someone would buy to a girl to express how much she meant to that person. Don't know why I didn't think of it as something someone can buy to herself to tell her life story.
No words can describe how awesome they were. Really. I wish I have an ability to go back in time to witness it again. Although I kinda know what songs they're going to play, I am still surprised and went all crazy whenever they start a new song. They're superb. True entertainers, always full with surprises. Make us all love them even more.
My favorite part? It has to be when they performed "Politik" and they continued with "Lovers in Japan" straight. Then during "Lovers in Japan", there's colorful butterflies confetti rained on us. It was the perfect moment. Perfect combination of songs. At least for me.
And I just knew how it feels like singing my heart out. I thought I knew, but I guess not until I sang "Fix You" together with them. Well, it is a tear-jerker song. I almost cried. Nasib baik tak nangis, if not malu je kot.
Actually I feel like just crying all the way. I was so happy to be there, and at the same time I was a bit sad cuz somehow I still wish that my lovely bitches were there with me. I am so glad that I can join Iqmal that nite. Thanks Iqmal, I really had fun going crazy with you XD
Its different this time, back during Muse concert, Luqman and I was seperated by the crowd. But this time? I get to watch the whole thing with a friend. Its really fun. haha.
And I have said this before, and I am going to say this again. THANK YOU babes. For the best present ever. I won't forget this. I love you guys so much, and this made me miss you babes even more. *biggest virtual hug ever*
And to all of you; Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland, thank you for such an amazing time. I still can't believe myself that you guys were right in front of me that night, and you guys were so close! Although I had to compete with those tall people on the floor to get a good view of you guys, but its so worth it. It was a superb, amazing, awesome experience. I am so grateful that I was there, I was in the crowd watching you guys.
After years and years of waiting. At last, I can watch them live =D They'll always be my favorite.
