Evergreen.

There are times when I just feel like listening to instrumental music, or classical. Like right now, I am putting Debussy's Clair de Lune on repeat.

Its soothing obviously, and helps me into thinking more clearly. No distractions of words, just beautiful music.

But I find classical/instrumental music at first, not as catchy as the ones I usually listen to - all those pop and rock songs, the ones with meaningful lyrics or loud and good music. Somehow it needed something I called "the perfect setting" for me to notice it. Like maybe when you are alone, walking on the streets or on the bus enjoying the surroundings, watching other people and day dreaming at the same time. Or when you are alone in the room doing nothing but just lying down and relax. And when you noticed it, instantly it'll become one of your favorite stuff to listen to. Often, I put Coldplay's Postcards from Far Away on repeat - good stuff. Even better if you listen to Chris Martin playing it live. So much better. The best, in fact. Okay I am bragging. Sorry.

Anyway, that wasn't the main intention of why I am writing this post. I wanted to just update my blog. It's been awhile. I didn't even make a "Merdeka post" for my dear country Malaysia. We celebrated our 52nd Independence Day on August 31st. I actually didn't celebrate it so much. I just twitted it, and post some stuff over Tumblr. Oh now I am so into it. Been Tumblring almost everyday. I made the point to update it everyday. Just some photos, or some good words of wisdom or some good advices I found at other people's Tumblr, quotes that I found inspiring or maybe made me ponder from the movies I watched and music that I feel like sharing with people. It's been fun to see how people are updating themselves over Tumblr. Like short posts is the new long posts. Before this, I'd prefer reading other people blog posts - the long and entertaining ones. Well I still do blog hopping, especially to my friends' blogs. But yeah, pictures and short quotes are more catchy to my eye. Who doesn't like pretty pictures?

Oh I have to go. Will continue blogging later.

Sad Sunday Morning.

♥James McAvoy♥

I am currently is in the mood to watch his movies. Apparently most of the movies that I watched were depressing. First, the Atonement, then Becoming Jane. I should have seen them coming, I mean all the sad sad endings, but yeah, I didn't expect the movies to be too 'emotionally challenging'. Was thinking of re-watching "The Last King of Scotland", the 1st movie that made me noticed him (although I watched Narnia before this one, I never realized who's Mr Tumnus is. I guess the character didn't really caught my attention...) but then I don't wanna be more depressed so I didn't rent it out.

Maybe I should re-watch Penelope and Wanted. They're more fun ;D

I ♥ to watch him, and his expressions. He's really good. And his eyes! I hardly noticed people's eyes, but his, the piercing blue eyes, its so impossible not to notice them.

Ah well. The first week of holiday has ended, so I should stop wasting time and start catching up with my studies. This holiday has been quiet, and lovely at the same time. If only this is not the fasting month because if we're not fasting, I'll be looking out for some adventures. I longed to go to Mt. Ruapehu. I kinda miss snowboarding :( Since we are fasting, I choose to just stay home and relax.

Oh, while watching Penelope I discovered the new song that I've uploaded in my playlist - Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros. Was my "currently-on-repeat" song. But yeah I love everything about the song, cuz it makes me happy by just listening to it.

Hope you guys felt the same way too when you listen to this song. That's why I uploaded it on my blog - to spread all the happiness~!

But for now I stopped listening to it, as I found the new JoBros song - Much Better. Ah me love Nick Jonas! haha. So yeah this song is my "currently-on-repeat" song.

Anyway, sent off Husna today. She left for good, and I miss her already :(

That's the updates for now.. have a good Sunday everyone! Today is my kemas-rumah day. so gotta go!

I just feel like blogging.

Warning: this post is pretty long. Haram Maklum.

Listening to : Katy Perry's One of the Boys

I am supposed to do some catch-ups with my studies. Honestly? I feel so left behind this trimester because I have too much to read and being the person who doesn't like to read, you know, its hard for me to keep up.

Apparently one of my papers that I am taking requires me to read a lot! and do a lot of questioning along the way. Another one just requires me to read a lot too, so that I can understand to do the workings later on. The lecturer assumed that I still have my knowledge on stuff that I learned a year and a half ago. Which for me, is not easy as I am so forgetful. One more paper requires me to write a lot. I also have some things to complain on this paper, but at the same time I think I am enjoying this class more than how much I can complain. Probably because its pretty relaxing. As compared to the other two.

Well, don't get me wrong. Its not that I hate the other two, they're just much much more difficult for me to handle as I have problems keeping up with the readings. And I was the one who chose to do all these, and so far I find all three subjects interesting. That should be good yes?

As I said earlier, one subject requires me to question on stuff, which I bet you know what subject it is. The problem with me is, I am so used to being told this and that, and I followed, most of the times, without questioning why. Probably because before I started to take up elective papers, the stuff that I am learning were mostly factual. I mean even if its subjective the lecturer will help you out by giving out all possible situations that make you use your common sense to understand, and somehow have some generic answers to them when the exam comes.

While in this subject, it is more to questioning why this and why that. They are the stuff that sometimes you do have questions on them but you don't exactly say it out loud, or in my case, usually I'll ended up with "maybe they are the way they are" or "they are what they are". I will come to terms with myself that things are meant to be the way they are meant to be. So I become more easily accepting towards things.

Maybe because I don't know much to the extent that I can start arguing. That's why this subject has many readings.

and I don't know when I can start keeping my momentum of reading all these stuff.

Maybe I should go out and stay in the library for me to read stuff. But I bet I will get bored easily and just stop reading and stare out of the window, or probably just enjoy the songs that were played in my iPod.

Or maybe I should go to Gloria Jeans and have something, and bring the book to the store and read while having my usual mango chiller and my sushi/ quiche. Its been awhile since I have that on my weekly routine. Yeah, been busy with fasting, so I don't go out that much... so sad. I miss my weekly sushi as well... yeah since tomorrow is my day off, I think I should do it! but then, I am sure I'll be tempted with the free mags at Borders. Well, who can resist free mags reading?

Ah well, I should just bring the book. Probably I will read at least a bit. That should be good enough :)

Because I don't think I'll do anything with my laptop right in front of me. Just now I managed to do a (very) little catch ups, and that's it. Plus now I have many things that I have to do online; Facebook has so many games applications (which most of them that I really hooked up with are Playfish's like Restaurant City, Country Story, Crazy Planet, and Pet Society), and miss bimbo; NaneeDoll needs constant attention from me okay. And there's youtube, or The Big Bang Theory, or the OC.

How can I concentrate???

Oh speaking of which, I have finished The OC season 1 for now. I don't wanna look for Season 2 (onwards) yet because I won't do any work if I have them.

Watching the OC again just made me realized how much I love and still loving the series. Back then, I was so into it, I blogged about it, I talked about it with friends, I googled for the photos, and photos of Adam Brody =P. And after watching them a week ago, I was in that "bubble" again. I became a bit obsessed, I googled to refresh my mind with the other seasons, and looked for the bloopers. Just the week before that I was into Harry Potter; watched all 6 movies (1 per day) and read the 7th book for the second time. Downloaded the 6th movie game for NDS and finish playing them in 2 days (or so). So that should explain why I don't bother to update my blog until recently. huhu.

Back to the OC, after watching the first season I find that I am more into Ryan's character than Seth. I guess its because they don't concentrate on Seth's life as much as Ryan's. Or probably my taste has changed over time. I don't know. Maybe I should watch the other 3 seasons to find out.

But I still have that celebrity crush on Adam Brody :P haha.

Now I feel like buying the box set for my own collection. So much of thinking that I won't be collecting dramas. But they look so cool.

But there's so many things on my list that I wanna buy. Like this:

been planning to get this for a long time, but never got the chance to grab it. Probably will check it out (again, and again) tomorrow.

I also have plans to get myself a pet. aaa I know, I am crazy right? Firstly, we're not sure whether we can have a pet. But I reckon the one who lives in a cage will be fine so I am looking at the Guinea Pigs. Well, a good substitute for cats (cuz I don't wanna cage cats...), that's what I think. But I don't know yet. What do you think? Is it easy to keep guinea pigs?

If only money grows on trees.

Okay this is totally out of the main topic.

So I guess I'll be bringing my book to Gloria Jeans tomorrow. Most likely. Haha.

And this is damn long. And I should go to bed; its nearly 2 am.

And maybe I should put some "long post warning at the top"...

Ah well, good night :)

Edwardmania.

Warning: This post may contain spoilers. Harap maklum :P

credits to the girl who made this

I know most of you have heard of FML. Well I am one of the avid followers. I ran through most of them, and to check out this website is a routine for me. I have to do it daily. Well its a good reminder that my life is not as bad as I always think it is. Everyone has their shitty days. Not just me.

So I came across these:
#1
Today, after spending the night hanging out with a beautiful girl we start to walk back to my place. Halfway there she turns and says, "I wish you were a vampire" and goes back home.

#2
Today, my girlfriend dumped me proclaiming she wanted someone more like her "Edward". I asked her who Edward was. She held up a copy her "Twilight" book. She was talking about a fictional vampire. FML
Lawak gak la kan? I mean the girls, soo into Edward! But yeah, okay I have to admit this. I am also one of those who was blinded by Edward. Especially after you read the Twilight Saga, most girls will have to agree with me; who doesn't want someone like Edward? He's like the perfect guy every girl wants to have. Well there must be at least one thing about him that will make you swoon and go ga-ga. And at least one/some thing(s) about him which is what you want in a guy.

Do you agree with me?

Since I was talking about the book, let me just crap a lil bit more about how I feel about this saga, which has been one of my favorite series of all time. Huhu.

Well I'm not the type who likes to read. Its hard for me to get hooked to books, and usually I'll follow the ones others also love to follow. Giler common, and not adventurous. Haha. But yeah, before this, I never gt hooked to a love series. So Twilight Saga is kinda like the first.

One of the many reasons why they're my fave:

While you're reading it, the book somehow convinced me that any typical, average girl like Bella will/is able to get the perfect guy she wants, like Edward. It is quite easy to relate yourself (if you're a girl) to Bella as she is designed to be more or less, like you.

But that's the thing, the only way for you to get that most perfect guy on earth is to meet someone who is immortal, and about 100 years older than you are, and still looks like he's your age. Which in this series, the possible way to meet them up is to make the guy a vampire.

When I finished reading it, it felt like I just got a slap of reality, waking me up from the fantasy that (many) girls have built; of waiting for the perfect guy to come. He'll never come. Almost impossible lah kan. So that's why there's another character whom Bella also fell in love with; Jacob.

For me, he's like Mr-perfect-for-you. I mean, he isn't really the one who has everything that you want in a guy, but he makes you happy and he's more real. Only one thing that is not real about him, which he's also can be another mythical creature. But since he's more human, it shows that he's the more possible for you to get in real life. He's also someone who was born around the same era as Bella (not from another century :P). If there's no vampires, there won't be Jacob transforming into a wolf. Lagi lah normal, and reflects reality even more. Bella won't meet Edward in the first place and will just be with Jacob in the end.

Don't bother to waste your time looking for Mr Perfect. He doesn't really exist. There must be something in a person that you find unappealing, or flaws in the person that makes him/her doesn't fit to the term "Mr/Miss Perfect". But there's definitely someone out there who is perfect for you. The flaws that he/she has actually makes him/her more perfect than you can imagine ;).

(As if I have experience je. haha. Cakap macam hebat kan :P)

But yeah, that is how the story should be. If there's no vampires, no Edward, Bella, Jacob, the twisted storyline and all, there won't be a story anyway. Or if there is one, probably I won't be attracted to even read it.

Well that's all I have to share for now. I have to go to sleep, need to start early tomorrow.

Nite peeps =)

p/s:

1. I can't wait for New Moon to come out!
2. Why I like study week: it gives me the vibe to blog. But why I don't like study week: I have to study and I am so lazy! dannggg

I am just so into hair clips right now. I feel like going down to the city and just buy a pack of plain hair clips and start "beaddazzle" them.
